Privacy Policy

Applies to: Anchori (web & mobile)  ·  Effective: 20 June 2026  ·  Developer: Anchori Intel

The short version: your audit data belongs to your organisation. We store it securely to run the service. We never sell it, never advertise with it, and never share it outside your workspace without your instruction.

1. Who We Are

Anchori is developed and operated by Anchori Intel, a sole-trader business operated by Stuart McMillan, registered in Australia (ABN 51 277 394 323). For privacy enquiries: anchoriintel@gmail.com.

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Anchori is available on a Free plan (up to 5 completed audits per month, 1 user, 2 templates), a paid Anchori plan ($18/user/month annual, full platform access), a Viewer seat ($5/user/month, read-only access), and custom Enterprise arrangements.

2. Information We Collect

Account information — your name, email address, and organisation name when you sign up.

Audit data — checklist responses, notes, photos, GPS coordinates, digital signatures, and findings that you and your team enter while using Anchori. This data belongs to your organisation.

Location data — GPS coordinates captured during audits to timestamp and verify inspection locations. Only collected when you conduct an audit and location permission is granted on the device.

Photos and media — images captured during audits as evidence for checklist items.

Device and usage information — browser type, IP address, device type, pages visited, features used, and session duration. Used to operate and improve the service.

Payment information — processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store card numbers or banking details.

3. How We Use Your Information

4. GPS and Location Data

When you conduct an audit, Anchori may request location permission to capture GPS coordinates. This data is attached to audit records and visible to authorised members of your organisation's workspace. Location collection is optional — denying permission does not block the audit. We never use location data for advertising or share it with third parties outside your workspace.

5. Photos and Media

Photos captured during audits are stored as part of your audit records, accessible to authorised workspace members. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent to photograph individuals or private property in your jurisdiction.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest. We implement access controls so only you and your authorised team members can access your workspace data.

No system is completely secure. We encourage strong, unique passwords and appropriate device security practices. If you become aware of a security issue, please contact us immediately at anchoriintel@gmail.com.

7. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

We never share your audit data, findings, or workspace content with third parties for marketing, advertising, or AI training purposes.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you close your account, we delete your workspace data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal or compliance purposes.

You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us at anchoriintel@gmail.com.

11. International Users

Anchori is operated from Australia under Australian privacy law. If you access the platform from outside Australia, your data may be processed and stored in Australia or on cloud infrastructure operated by our service providers, which may include servers in other countries. By using Anchori, you consent to this transfer.
